We are Women

We are women - practically perfect in every way.  Why? Because we care, we nurture, we uplift others, we bleed, and we bare creation selflessly upon the earth.  Yet we are our harshest critics. We rip ourselves to pieces from the inside.  What is this disease plaguing women kind? Where did it start? Has it always been there? Men do not have it (at least to this degree commonly).  It is present and affects the ability to ask for and demand promotions in the workplace.  We all know it so how can we heal it?  How do we finally take credit for our beings being the greatest blessing upon the earth?  This is not being high on ourselves or boastful.  Ahh and there it is. Taking pride and confidence in who you are is demonized for a woman. A man can be confident.  He needs to be. A woman “should” be meek and tear herself to pieces. The victorian ideal programmed into this modern civilization.
